Death Raceに来ていただいた皆さん、ありがとうございます！
一週間ずっと、土曜の天気予報は雨だったため、
金曜日に私は一晩中、雷神とトールに祈りつづけました。
それでも足りず、他に思い浮かぶすべての稲妻の神々にも祈りました。
祈りが神々に届いたのか、土曜は快晴！
しかし喜んだのもつかの間、天気で幸運は掴みましたが、
私たちには数々の不運もありました。
エントリーした35人のうち、5人ぐらいはチェーンが切れたり、
パンクしたりするトラブルに見舞われました
しかし、我々は走り出したら止められません！
レースのコースは千葉市外を中心に、南から北へ。
ゴールは千葉動物公園でした。
しばらくそこで自転車に乗ったり、遊んだりした後、
ロングスキッドなどのゲームのために、ポートタワーに。
結果はこの書き込みの下にアップしてあります。
すばらしい人たちと、すばらしい一日を過ごせました。

Thank you to everyone that came out to Death Race!
It looked like it was going to rain all week, but I spent Friday night praying to Raijin and Thor and all the other lightning gods I could think of and apparently it worked. Saturday was beautiful all day.
Although we got lucky with the weather, we had plenty of other mishaps. Out of the 35 or so people that came, I think 5 got flats (one person more than once) and 2 people snapped their chains. But we weren't gonna let that stop us.
The course ran an South-North route through Chiba. Spent a few hours playing/riding in near the finish area and then headed to the Port Tower for some games. Was a great day with friends and fun. See you all at Makuhari Night Race on August 21st!
